Laurenson Talk

Dr Matthew Laurenson is a kiwi research scientist who has been working in Japan for 4 years with an agricultural Information Technology research lab.  During July, 2002, HortPlus brought Matthew to New Zealand with the assistance of Technology New Zealand to investigate the applicability of his work to HortPlus' activities.

Matthew gave a fascinating speech to the Hawkes Bay chapter of the Royal Society covering his work, and sharing many ideas on where the future of Decision Support for horticulture lies.  He has kindly added notes to the slides he used in his talk so you can share in the presentation:
