The Quick Measure Calipers System enables a single operator to easily and rapidly measure dimensions such as fruit diameters, and automatically record them to a robust hand held computer. Data can then subsequently be transferred to PC for further analysis. The system is highly suitable for applications such as monitoring fruit size which normally requires three people for accurate results - two measuring and recording in the field plus a data entry operator to key results into a PC for analysis. The Calipers System integrates with the free HortPlus Link Master and Graph Master software giving you full use of your monitoring data at the click of a mouse.
The Quick Measure Calipers System is based on the highly successful Psion Workabout handheld computer and Sylvac 5000 series calipers. Recent improvements to the Sylvac calipers give great resistance to moisture in field measuring, and improved capacity of the Workabout means you can store even more fruit size measurements between downloading sessions.This system is highly cost-effective for consultants, packhouses, and any large operation where where efficiency in fruit size monitoring counts.
