Overview

The Quick Measure Temperature Loggers are very cost-effective, small, robust, and simple to use. They are ideal for many of the temperature monitoring applications in the horticultural industry from monitoring air and soil temperatures in the orchard through to recording the temperature of fruit in transit (we have literally thousands in use in the kiwifruit and apple industries for tracking fruit temperatures in transit). They can be used over and over again - warranted for one year, under normal operating conditions they will last for 5-10 years or 1 million readings!

Rugged, self-sufficient loggers that can record up to 2048 temperature values taken at a user-specified time interval ranging from 1 to 255 minutes. Data is transferred from the logger to a PC using a PC-reader and PC-software and uses the serial port on your computer. Each logger is factory-lasered with a guaranteed unique 64-bit registration number that allows for absolute traceability. The durable stainless-steel package is highly resistant to environmental hazards such as dirt, moisture, and shock. The loggers can be mounted on almost any object, including containers, pallets, and bags.

	Automatically wakes up and measures temperature at user-programmable intervals from 1 to 255 minutes
	Logger can be set up to start recording immediately or delayed up to a maximum user-specified period of 45 days
	Logs up to 2048 consecutive temperature measurements (3 months of hourly readings)
	User-specified action in event of memory full - either stop logging, or erase earliest measurements
	Built-in real-time clock (RTC) and timer has accuracy of ±2 minutes per month per month from 0°C to 45°C
	Communicates to PC via serial (Com) port or USB port - specify version at time of ordering.
	Unique, factory-lasered and tested 64-bit registration number (8-bit family code + 48-bit serial number + 8-bit CRC tester) assures absolute traceability because no two parts are alike. Registration number also held digitally.
	Durable stainless steel case engraved with registration number withstands harsh environments
	Discrete size: overall size of logger is slightly less than 17mm in diameter, and 6mm thick.
	Meets UL#913 (4th Edit.). Intrinsically Safe Apparatus: approved under Entity Concept for use in Class I, Division 1, Group A, B, C and D Locations (application pending)

Information specific to "Z-model" data logger:

	Operating range from -5 to +26°C
	Digital thermometer measures temperature in 0.125°C increments
	Accuracy +/- 1°C (use ice-water calibration to record logger-specific offset to improve accuracy)

PC specification to run software:

	Any PC running Windows 95 or later
	Requires a serial port or USB port. Specify which type of adapter is required when ordering.
