Spray Log Repair Utility
If you are very unlucky, one day Spray Log will report a corrupted table in the database. The Spray Log Repair Utility will attempt to repair a damaged Spray Log database. This is probably not a good time to ask you when you did your last backup of your database!
To Download
Download the compressed file containing the Spray Log Repair Utility and save the file (you may want to save to a floppy disk so you have a backup version).
To Install
After downloading the file use the Windows Start button and select Run to run the utility Repair.exe which you have downloaded. The following image illustrates what the extraction dialogue will look like.
Click the Unzip button to uncompress the updated programe file, and save it to the indicated folder or nominate a different folder. Then click Close to shutdown the utility.
To Run
Use the Start button and select Run and browse to run the repair utility (which if you selected the default will be located at C:\hortplus\apps\dbfix\Pdxrbld.exe).
Select "Rebuild corrupted tables", then select each of the aliases in turn and press Start. The image below illustrates what you will see when you run the repair utility.
The program will then scan your database directory and make minor corrections to the
database structure. When finished, an Error Tab will appear at the top. Click on it to see
what was repaired. This tab will not appear if there were no problems with the
database.
