Hortplus manages a network of weather stations covering all the major growing areas of New Zealand. These weather stations can be accessed using a modem and telephone line, and link seamlessly with the award winning MetWatch disease and crop management information package.
You pay a small annual lease to access data from these weather stations. Many of these stations are grower-owned and maintained and access is provided as a service to the industry. In the event of problems with a station we will try to substitute access to the nearest station. Neither the owners of the stations nor HortPlus accept any liability for the quality of the data or possible disruptions to service. If you want guarantees, consider getting your own weather station.
