HortPlus MicroLoggers are small, cost-effective, robust and easy-to-use digital thermometers that measure and store time, temperature and humidity in their immediate environment. They're primarily used to monitor air and soil temperatures on orchards and vineyards, but they're also popular with research and education institutes.
MicroLoggers are also used for logging the temperature and humidity of products in storage or cold chain distribution. They can be used over and over again up to one million readings, and although their warranty is for one year, under normal operating conditions they can last for 5-10 years.
Their stainless-steel outer casing is highly resistant to environmental hazards such as dirt, light, shock and short periods of moisture. A plastic clip is available that can attach loggers to objects like containers, pallets and bags. And a waterproof capsule can be used if being exposed to wet environments. For outdoor use, our stevenson radiation screens provide protection from inaccurate readings through the effects of radiational heating.
